Dear reader(s), I hope I have some of you out there...
This past weekend marked the celebration of my graduation from Portland State University. I still have 4 credits to complete this fall, but they still let me walk in the summer ceremony. I had my choice of this summer or next spring 2012. I knew one thing for sure, there was no way in H-E- Double-Hockey sticks, that I was going to participate in the ceremony at the Rose Garden with thousands of other people lasting for several hours.
The summer ceremony in my mind was nearly perfect. I had great friends and extremely supportive family out to support me. I owe each and every one of you a huge thank you! Without the love and support and of course financial support of all of my family and friends I would not have been able to make it through the last 3 years. There have been tears... many, many tears. Thank God that math is OVER! I cant' say that French was much easier, but they are both in the past... well sort of.
I also want to thank those that sent me their best wishes and congrats. A very special thank you to Becca & Katie. You've been there for me in many special ways. Our friendship means so much to me. Thank you for saving me with cream puffs and mimosas as well as your never ending support of my constant babbling.
Of course the biggest thank you to my parents, but then again they know that. They are incredible.
Well now that the thank you's are over with... I am looking forward to a few weeks off while I get ready for my trip to Europe.... Really can time go any slower right now?!?!

Plenty goin' on...
Let's see schools out! Yipeeeee! I just have 1 paper to finish by tomorrow and that should be nice and easy. I only have to write about the Palestine/Israel conflict and watch depressing documentaries. I am so glad that this class is done, I had no idea that it would be this difficult. By difficult I meant watching documentaries that are so depressing due to the horrid acts that humans do to other humans. Sometimes I just can't handle all the badness in the world, it just makes me so sad...
Ok, moving on from sad. Celebration time is this weekend as I am walking in the graduation ceremony. Although I don't technically graduate until fall term, I still have 4 credits to complete for my degree in Social Science. I was given the opportunity to walk either in summer ceremony or the HUGE spring ceremony. I opted for the 2.5 hour and 5,000 less people ceremony. ;)
In other news mom and I are even closer to our European vacation! Can I just tell you how flippin' excited I am about this. There is so much that I want to do but know that I will only be able to get around to so many things. If anyone has any suggestions of what I should do, eat, see... please let me know! Thank you. Oh we are going to London & Paris and are taking a short day trip to Brussels.
I truly hope everyone is enjoying their summer as much as I am.. mine just started and I have been getting to sleep in, bike ride, and visit with friends. Not to mention a trip to the beach and many visits to the farmer's market... LIG!!!
